TIP: How to search and replace hyperlink paths

Suppose you have a presentation with loads of hyperlinks to a web site. And then the site moves.

With luck, the structure of the site will stay the same, but at least part of the URL will need to change. For each link. Oh, the tedium.

Or suppose you have loads of links to document files on your server and IT moves all of your files to a new server. With a new name. And there went all of your links.

We hope to address this sort of problem in a future version of FixLinks, but for now, here's a free macro that'll save you an awful lot of tedious editing:
