64-bit vs 32-bit Office

If Office 2010 is already installed on your computer, here's how you can tell whether it's compatible with PPTools add-ins:

Click File then click Help. On the right side of the resulting window, you'll see an area that looks like this:

Beneath About Microsoft PowerPoint you'll see the Version number followed by either (32-bit) or (64-bit) in parentheses (the area outlined in orange above).

That tells you whether you have 32-bit or 64-bit Office 2010.

If you have an earlier version of Office than 2010, it's 32-bit.
