No.
Imagine that you have an assistant who handles all your PowerPoint formatting chores for you. This tireless soul does all the laborious, boring, carpal-tunnel-syndrome-inducing clicking and dragging while you kick back, sip a latte and direct.
Your assistant doesn't need to be there when other people view your presentations, of course. Once the formatting is done, the assistant can go home.
It's the same with ShapeStyles Once it's done the formatting for you, it's out of the picture, no longer needed.
